Sway - Cloud based presentation tool from Microsoft

Link to site: https://sway.com/

With many Colleges and Schools going down the route of using Office 365, Sway and OneNote provides users with two packages that allow them the opportunity to work creatively and collaboratively with their students and colleagues

Sway is a newish product from Microsoft that allows you to create and share presentations and personal stories. You can start by importing a, word, powerpoint or pdf document or just by clicking on create new, or from choosing one of their provided templates.

Once started you can add a headings, text images, videos, audio or embed content using a menu that appears on the left hand side. having entered a title when you go to insert a image or a video it will automatically bring up suggestions of content found on the following sites or you can choose a file to upload.

You can collaborate by send an editing link, and the finished presentation can be shared via a link or an embed code, it also provides you different options in relation to the privacy settings.

I could see students and teachers finding this a really useful product for creating presentations as it very easy to use and allows you to create presentations which have a more dynamic look and feel than Powerpoint.

As well as being available via the browser you can also get it as an app for Windows and Apple devices.

Here is my video walk through of using it.
